Uttarakhand: Essential commodities shops to remain open for 3 hours
All shops related to essential commodities will open from 7 am till 10 am in the state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister's Office said. There will be no movement on the roads after 10 am. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on March 24 a nationwide lockdown from midnight which is ‘stricter’ than previous ‘Janta Curfew’. He said, “From 12 AM tonight there will be a complete lockdown across the country. In the view of the current situation, the nationwide complete lockdown will be in place for 21 days - 3 weeks.
