Severe Cold Conditions In Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar Records -5 Degree Celsius

Cold Wave has intensified in Kashmir and Srinagar. The temperature has gripped to -5 degree in Srinagar. The residents of Srinagar says that due to fall in temperature the water has frozen. They are also facing the problem of short supply of electricity. Gulmarg recorded a low of -11 degree celsius. Chillai-Kalan, a 40 day long period of extreme cold began in Kashmir on December 21.
