Retail inflation rises in February as compared to January

Retail inflation has increased compared to January. In January, retail inflation was 4.06 per cent, while in February, it has increased to 5.03 per cent a month later. The rate of price rise in the food basket accelerated to 3.87% in February, as against 1.89% in the preceding month, as per data released by the National Statistical Office (NSO).
