Rajnath Singh: CAA doesn't discriminate on basis of religion

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh urged people not to believe in rumors and misinformation spread by the Oppositions and others. Singh said that some opposition parties are trying to mislead people and that the CAA will not impact any Indian citizen. "We don't discriminate on the basis of caste and religion... People belonging to the minority community, who are being persecuted in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, will be given citizenship through this Act," Rajnath Singh said.
