Maharashtra: Huge crowd on the streets ahead of lockdown

Maharashtra reported 6,971 new COVID-19 cases, 2,417 recoveries, and 35 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per State Health Department the total cases are 21,00,884 the total recoveries are 19,94,947, the death toll is 51,788 while the active cases are 52,956. A total of 16,154 people have been fined for not wearing face masks at public places in a single day today in Mumbai, says Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
