JNU case: Jamia students, political leaders join protest march
Hundreds of people including students from Jamia Millia Islamia University, several civil organizations and other citizens of Delhi joined the protest by JNU’s teachers’ association and the student’s union on Thursday at Mandi House. The protesters raised slogans against the recent violence at JNU and demanded resignation of the varsity vice-chancellor. They demanded strict action against those involved in campus violence. CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury and LJD leader Sharad Yadav also joined the march at Mandi House in New Delhi.
