According to the data furnished by the National Statistical Office (NSO), the CPI Urban rose by 4.77 percent last month from 6.52 percent in March. On a year-on-year basis, the inflation rate last month was higher. The WPI had come in about (-) 1.57 percent in April of 2020. Watch the video to know more.
