Ever since the Uttar Pradesh Police's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) busted a nationwide religious conversion racket in Delhi, there have been many shocking revelations. During his interrogation, one of the accused, Mohammad Umar Gautam, said the racket involved the conversion of deaf children and women to Islam. He said that more than 1,000 people had been converted so far. Now, the question arises- why terrorist groups are targeting deaf-mute people for conversion?
