West Bengal: BJP divides party organization in 5 Zones
The BJP has appointed five central leaders to oversee the affairs of the party's five organizational areas in Bengal. They have been appointed for next year's assembly elections.
Sources said that the four national secretaries - Sunil Deodhar, Vinod Tawde, Vinod Sonkar and Harish Dwivedi - would look after the Howrah-Hooghly-Midnapore, Nabadwip, Burdwan and North Bengal regions respectively. BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam will oversee the Calcutta Zone.
