Versatile actor Irrfan Khan dies in Mumbai
Versatile actor Irrfan Khan has died at the age of 54. His last movie was Angrezi Medium with Radhika Apte and others.
Irrfan was admitted in ICU on Tuesday at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was detected with colon infection.
In 2018, the actor was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour for which he had undergone treatment for many months in London.
Irrfan is known for many international hits like Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man and Life of Pi. Apart from this, his films like Salaam Bombay!, Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, The Lunchbox, Haider, Gunday, Piku and Talvar and Hindi Medium garnered a lot of praise too
