Update: Post-Mortem Process to Begin Soon at KGMU Under CMO Supervision

Medical officials have confirmed that Prateek Yadav was brought to the hospital in a deceased condition early in the morning. According to doctors present at the facility, he was declared brought dead after examination showed no pulse or heart activity, including ECG tests that indicated no signs of life. He was approximately 38 years old and had reportedly been unwell prior to the incident. Following the confirmation, police were immediately informed, and standard procedures including the panchnama were completed. The body was later shifted to the KGMU mortuary, where the post-mortem examination is expected to begin shortly under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer. A team of doctors is handling the legal and medical formalities, and documentation work has already started. Family members and close associates of Akhilesh Yadav are present at the mortuary, though they have requested privacy during this difficult time. The exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report.
