UP Elections: RPN Singh hails PM Modi's vision for India after joining BJP

RPN Singh, one of the Congress's most powerful figures in Uttar Pradesh, left the party today to join the BJP ahead of the state's election next month. He is expected to run in the UP elections from Padrauna, his bastion, where he has been elected MLA three times. He said that he has left Congress because "it is not the party now what it used to be."
