Uddhav Thackeray Meets Chandrakant Patil, Indicates Closer Ties Between BJP And Uddhav Group | ABP News
Ahead of the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Assembly on Thursday, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray had a surprising encounter with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The two former allies met outside a lift in the legislature. With the Maharashtra assembly elections only a few months away, this unexpected meeting has sparked speculation about a potential BJP-Thackeray alliance.
Thackeray and Fadnavis were seen chatting briefly while waiting for the lift, and they exited the lift together. Despite being political rivals since their fallout post-2019 state assembly elections, this encounter has raised questions about the possibility of the two leaders joining forces for the upcoming elections.
