Petrol prices surpassed 100 pence per litre today, with rates rising by 80 pence per litre for petrol and 70 pence for diesel, bringing the total rate increase in one week to 4.80 pence per litre. According to a price statement from state petroleum merchants, petrol will now cost 100.21 per litre in Delhi, up from 99.41 before, and diesel will cost 91.47 per litre, up from 90.77 previously.
