Tablighi Jamaat case: Chargesheet filed against Prof Shahid
UP police have filed two charge sheets against former Allahabad University professor Mohammed Shahid. Shahid is accused of harboring the foreign nationals who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event at Nizamuddin Markaz and then didn't come forward for Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests.
The second charge sheet has been filed for alleged violation of the Epidemic Act for not disclosing that he was present at the event.
