Sensex tops 41,800, hits new high

The benchmark Sensex touched record high of 41,809.96. It was the fourth consecutive session on Friday when the Dalal Street recorded a fresh high.

The BSE Sensex opened over 100 points higher.

At 11.15 a.m., it traded at 41,737.34, higher by 63.42 points. The Nifty advanced 23.15 points to 12,282.85.
