Incumbent Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, facing imminent defeat in Jamshedpur East, has resigned from his post.
He handed over his resignation to Governor Draupadi Murmu at Raj Bhavan on Monday evening. Das has been winning this seat since 1995.
