The mother of the Nirbhaya gang rape victim alleged on Friday that the lawyer representing the four convicts on death row had allegedly bragged that their hanging would never take place. However, expresing hope of justice for her daughter, Asha Devi said that one day all the convicts will be hanged and that she would not give up fighting.
A Delhi court on Friday directed the Tihar Jail authorities not to execute the death warrants issued against the convicts. The execution was scheduled for Saturday at 6 a.m.
