Rain rescues north India from sweltering heat
Residents of north India experienced some relief as the weather took a turn. Speedy wind and heavy rainfall in some parts of the region caused the mercury to drop and brought welcome relief for the people. In Ludhiana, the weather was pleasant as people seemed to enjoy light drizzle in the city. Shimla also witnessed heavy rain today. The weather also took at the turn in the national capital.
