Punjab: Liquor shops to open from tomorrow
The Punjab government has decided to open liquor stores in the state from tomorrow. The timings will be: 9 am to 1 pm. The government has also increased the tax on alcohol by 3 percent. Additionally, up to 2 liters of alcohol can be home delivered to a single buyer. This decision has been taken to avoid crowding outside such stores.
