Political uproar over centre's caste census decision in 2021| Debate

The recent decision of the centre over case-based census has created an uproar among political parties. There have been two groups, one who think it is important while the other called it an insult to minorities and the poor. With Maharashtra and Odisha asking the Union Government to collect caste-related data during the decennial census of 2021, some ministers from Nitish Kumar led government has slammed the move.
