Parliament Winter Session: Watch Big Updates Of The Hour Only On ABP News | Priyanka Gandhi
Today (December 5, 2024) marks the ninth day of the Winter Session of Parliament. Several important bills will be discussed in the House today, and the opposition may create a ruckus over the Sambhal issue. On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, along with Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress leaders, headed towards Sambhal, but they were stopped at the Ghazipur border. This led to an opposition walkout from the House. It is likely that the issue will lead to further disruptions today. On the previous day, several new bills were introduced in Parliament, and discussions took place on significant issues. The Lok Sabha approved a bill to amend the century-old Boiler Act. The bill, aimed at decriminalizing seven offenses and promoting ease of doing business, was approved by the Upper House through a voice vote. Additionally, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar made a statement in the Rajya Sabha regarding the recent developments in India-China relations. On Tuesday, the minister informed the Lok Sabha that relations between India and China had improved in recent days. Congress MPs have also submitted separate adjournment notices in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha for a discussion on the agricultural crisis.
