Pahalgam Attack: Terrorists Attack Tourists, Shoot Hindu Men After Religious Segregation

A terrifying terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where several people were targeted in a horrifying act of violence. A family visiting the area, including a woman and her children, were caught in the chaos. The attackers separated people based on their religion, asking Muslims to recite the Kalma and shooting Hindu men on the spot. The incident unfolded as the family was having food, and while they were on horseback, the gunmen suddenly emerged and began shooting. The attackers, dressed in white t-shirts and black jeans, left the area after the carnage, but not before causing widespread panic and confusion. The family narrowly escaped, with the woman and her children being told to flee by local shopkeepers for their safety. Despite the tragedy, there was no sign of mercy from the attackers, who showed no hesitation in shooting innocent people. The victim’s wife expressed her sorrow, stating that after losing her husband, she would never visit the area again. However, she also acknowledged that the local community depends on tourism for their livelihood and called for increased security to prevent future attacks. The attack highlights the growing danger and insecurity faced by tourists and locals in the region.
