Nepal stops work at Gandak Dam, Bihar may face floods
Due to Nepal, large parts of Bihar may get flooded. The Nepal government has stopped the construction work of the embankment being built on the Red Bakaya River in Dhaka subdivision of East Champaran in Bihar.
Gandak dam has 36 gates, 18 of which are in Nepal. Nepal has blocked the area. This has never happened before.
