Navi Mumbai Building Collapse: Rescue Operation Underway As Many Feared Trapped
A three-storey building named 'Indira Niwas' collapsed in Shahbaz village, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, early on Saturday, July 27, at around 4:35 a.m. Many people are feared trapped under the rubble. The building, a ground-plus-three-storey structure located in Navi Mumbai’s CBD Belapur area, saw emergency services rush to the scene, including NDRF teams, Mumbai Police, the Fire Department, and local municipal officials. Rescue operations are currently underway, with efforts focused on locating and assisting those trapped beneath the debris. Two individuals are reported to be particularly at risk. The situation remains dire as teams work tirelessly to manage the crisis and provide aid to the affected.
