Mayawati to Not Contest UP Elections 2022

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former chief minister Mayawati will not run for re-election in 2022, according to her party colleague and MP Satish Chandra Misra. A top BSP politician, Misra, has also announced that he will not run in the next Uttar Pradesh elections. However, BSP MP Misra expressed confidence in the party's ability to create the next government in Uttar Pradesh.
