Maharashtra Elections: Opposition Targets EVMs, Congress Leader Udit Raj Leads 'Remove EVMs' Rally

After the results of the state assembly elections, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are once again under scrutiny by the opposition. The Congress party, expressing concerns over the election results, has launched a national movement against EVMs. Today, a major "Remove EVMs" rally will be held in Delhi, led by Congress leader Udit Raj, with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also set to participate. The purpose of the rally is to raise questions about the credibility of EVMs and demand the return of ballot papers for elections. The Congress party claims that EVMs manipulate election outcomes, and only through the use of ballot papers can fair and transparent elections be ensured. The rally aims to highlight the opposition's growing concerns about the integrity of electronic voting systems and to push for reforms in the election process. This event is expected to amplify the opposition's voice against EVMs across the country, with various political parties likely to join the movement. As the debate over the reliability of EVMs intensifies, the Congress hopes to gather widespread support for the return of traditional ballot paper voting. This rally marks the beginning of a fresh campaign to challenge the use of EVMs in future elections.
