Lockdown: UP govt to allow construction work from April 20
In a big decision, Uttar Pradesh government has announced that construction projects like housing projects, highway construction, etc can start post-April 20 in the state. However, the announcement comes with a caveat. The social distancing norms will have to be followed in the projects and the workers will have to stay at the construction site as they will not be allowed to go back home. Also, suitable medical and food arrangements have to be done for them at the site.
