Lawyer representing sadhus in Palghar mob-lynching case dies in road accident
In the Palghar case of Maharashtra, Digvijay Trivedi, an advocate of the lawyer who was fighting the case on behalf of the sadhus, died in a road accident. so far 134 people have been arrested in the Palghar case. The incident took place in Gadchinchale village on 16 April. The two sadhus were traveling from Mumbai to Surat in a car. A mob stopped them in the village and was beaten to death on suspicion of being a child thief. More details in this report.
