Kolkata Murder Case: HC Issues Warning On Vandalism Amid Concerns For Doctors' Safety | ABP News

The Calcutta High Court has taken suo motu cognizance of the vandalism at RG Kar College and Hospital following the rape and murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata. The court expressed dissatisfaction, questioning how 7,000 people could have gathered so suddenly. The Calcutta High Court on Friday took up the case of vandalism at the premises of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, which broke out at midnight on the night of August 14 in protest against the rape and murder of a trainee woman doctor. The Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court said that we listed it because we received emails because of the vandalism in the hospital.
