Since the start of the Sawan month on July 11, violent incidents involving Kavadis have repeatedly surfaced along the pilgrimage routes from Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh. Reports reveal aggressive behavior, clashes, and unruly conduct by some Kavadis, which have marred the spirit of the holy journey.
