Janhit: PM Modi Sets Development and Anti-Infiltration Agenda for Bihar Elections 2025 | ABP NEWS

With the inauguration of Purnia’s new airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off his seventh visit to Bihar this year, setting the tone for the 2025 assembly elections. Development remains the BJP-led NDA's central theme, but the PM also launched sharp attacks on RJD and Congress for corruption, dynasty politics, and alleged infiltration. Modi announced the formation of the National Makhana Board, fulfilling an earlier promise, and declared that infiltration “will be locked out,” making national security a key narrative. The rally, shared with CM Nitish Kumar, displayed NDA’s unity. Nitish, on his part, reaffirmed his commitment to the alliance, subtly referencing past political shifts. ₹400 crore worth of development projects were launched in the region, which is seen as a crucial battleground after mixed results in 2020 and 2024 elections. Opposition parties, especially RJD, hit back with sarcastic videos and criticisms, accusing Modi of ignoring real issues like jobs, education, and health. A remark by RJD MP Sudhakar Singh calling Modi a "master of abuse" drew sharp condemnation from the BJP. As Bihar enters full election mode, political rhetoric is heating up, with development, infiltration, and governance emerging as key battlegrounds.
