India, with its 138 million inhabitants, has one of the world's greatest young-to-adult population ratios. In India's 2001 Census, 35.3 percent of the population was between the ages of 0 and 14, with 41% under the age of 18. India has grown dramatically in the 20 years after the data point. Most of the country's stability may be attributed to the young population working hard for a better tomorrow, from the early 2000s worldwide depression to the Covid-19 pandemic-induced lockdown.
