In Himachal Pradesh, cloudbursts have wreaked havoc in Shimla, Mandi, and Kullu. Reports indicate that 30 people are missing. The incident occurred early Thursday near a hydro project at Rampur Jhakri, as confirmed by the District Disaster Management Authority. Following the news, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap and Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gandhi have headed to the site. Deputy Commissioner Kashyap stated that teams from the DSRF, police, and rescue units have been dispatched. He reported that 19 people are missing from the affected area. The disaster has created widespread panic among residents. The district administration has advised the public to remain vigilant due to the forecast of heavy rains.
