Government announces additional relief for rural areas amid lockdown
The government has announced some more finanacial relief for rural areas subject to fulfillment of certain conditions during the COVID-19 induced lockdown. The factories falling in the hotspot zones will, however, not be allowed to function. The lockdown, which was originally scheduled to continue till April 14, has been extended to May 3 keeping the rising number of COVID-19 cases in mind.
