Face off between Chinese and Indian Army in Sikkim, injuries reported on both sides
According to Indian Army sources, a face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in North Sikkim took place in the Nathu La sector of Sikkim. Aggressive behavior & minor injuries have been reported on both sides. Troops disengaged after local level interaction and dialogue.
According to reports, temporary and short duration face-offs have occurred in the past in the area as border dispute has not been resolved. Usually, troops resolve such issues mutually as per established protocols and such an incident has occurred after a long time.
