Even mild rainfall leads to flood-like situation in Bihar's Katihar
Incessant rain has led to a flood in many parts of Bihar. In Katihar district, people are forced to cross a river on foot as there is no bridge available. The area used to have a dam which would check the flow of water. However, in 2017, the dam was damaged and since then, the locals are forced to travel in knee-deep water even when there is little to medium rainfall in the area. Watch this ground report from Katihar.
