Discover The Real Reason Behind UPI's Record Transactions | Paisa Live

In July 2024, UPI transactions reached a new milestone, setting a record with 1,444 crore transactions conducted. This substantial activity led to a total transfer amount of ₹20.64 lakh crore between accounts. Data from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) reveals that in June 2024, UPI transactions amounted to ₹20.07 lakh crore, and in May 2024, the total was ₹20.44 lakh crore. This upward trend in transaction volumes underscores the growing reliance on UPI for digital payments, reflecting its increasing adoption and trust among users. The surge in both the number of transactions and the transferred amount highlights the efficiency and widespread acceptance of the UPI system in India.
