Cyclone Amphan: West Bengal requests railways to delay special trains
In the aftermath of the devastation caused by Cyclone Amphan, the West Bengal government has written a letter to Indian Railway and sought a delay in the operation of special trains till May 26. The Mamata Banerjee government has cited the damage caused by the cyclone as the reason for the same. These special trains include all the trains including the shramik express and other passenger trains. The government said that the district administration is handling the havoc caused by the cyclone and won't be able to take care of migrants sent their way.
