Covid-19: Over 28,000 cases, 500 dead in 24 hours

For second straight day, more than 28,000 cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) were observed in India. Meanwhile, 500 people have lost their lives in the same time. The number of cases in India have now climbed up to over 8.78 lakh cases. However, in last 24 hours, over 18,000 people have also recovered, taking the total figure to over 5.53 lakh. Meanwhile, there are still 3.01 lakh active cases in the country.
