Coronavirus: Varanasi district administration bans Ganga Arti

In view of the rising outbreak of Coronavirus, the district administration has banned the Ganga Aarti and Yoga camps in the Laxmanjhula area of Tehsil Yamkeshwar till 31 March. DM Dhiraj Singh Garbyal said that the Coronavirus has been declared an epidemic by the World Health Organization. The Ganga Aarti and Yoga Camp have a ban on organizing, so there is no crowd of outsiders. The DM said that outside tourists should not be involved in the Aarti programs in temples.
