China attempted to change Status Quo at LAC: MEA
Three soldiers, including an Indian Army officer, were killed in a violent clash in the Galwan Valley late last night and after this, tensions between the two nations have increased. India's Foreign Ministry has released the first statement on the clash with China. Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said that both sides suffered casualties that could have been avoided had China followed a prior agreement to deescalate tensions.
