Chhattisgarh Crime: Journalist Mukesh Chandrakar Murdered Over Reporting, Body Found in Contractor's Septic Tank

A tragic incident has unfolded in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, where journalist Mukesh Chandrakar was murdered. His body was discovered by the police at the yard of contractor Suresh Chandrakar. It is alleged that the journalist was killed and his body was disposed of in a septic tank, where it was later recovered. Police have found marks of sharp weapon injuries on the body.Mukesh had been missing since January 1, prompting his family to file a missing person report. According to sources, the contractor brothers Suresh and Ritesh Chandrakar are involved in road construction, and Mukesh had recently reported on the poor quality of roadwork, leading to an investigation. It is suspected that the murder may be linked to this reporting.Following the discovery of the body, Ritesh Chandrakar, one of the contractors, is believed to have fled the scene. Police are promising strict action against all those found responsible for this heinous crime. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to bring the perpetrators to justice.
