Breaking: PM Modi to Launch ₹3,880 Crore Projects in 50th Varanasi Visit, Will Also Visit MP's Anand Dham

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, marking his 50th visit to Varanasi. During the visit, he will launch development projects worth ₹3,880 crore. PM Modi will spend about three hours in Varanasi, where he will be welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Following his Varanasi engagements, the Prime Minister will travel to Anand Dham in Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu, political dynamics are shifting. AIADMK leaders including Edappadi K. Palaniswami and O. Panneerselvam may meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Chennai. Sources suggest discussions may focus on reviving the BJP-AIADMK alliance ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections. Although the two parties contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections separately, talks are underway for a renewed coalition. Simultaneously, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) is launching a nationwide protest under the “Waqf Bachao, Samvidhan Bachao” (Save Waqf, Save Constitution) campaign. Peaceful demonstrations are planned across major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Patna. AIMPLB urges youth participation to oppose new Waqf-related legislation in a lawful and non-violent manner.
