Breaking News: 3 terrorists killed in Kishtwar encounter; top JeM commander Saifullah among dead

In a major success for Indian security forces, three terrorists have been neutralized in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district during a continued anti-terror operation. One terrorist was killed yesterday, while two more were eliminated today in the same region. Sources confirm that one of the slain terrorists is top Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Saifullah, a long-time operative active in the Kishtwar region.Saifullah was not only involved in executing multiple terror-related activities but was also known for recruiting local youth into terrorism. His presence had posed a significant threat to the region's peace and security, making him a high-priority target for the forces.Large quantities of weapons and ammunition were recovered from the encounter site, suggesting that the group may have been planning a major strike. Security forces had been tracking Saifullah for a long time and finally succeeded in eliminating him. ABP News reporter Ajay Pachal confirmed that this marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing counter-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir, especially as Kishtwar has witnessed rising militant activity in recent months. The operation is still ongoing in the area to ensure complete sanitization. The encounter underscores the heightened vigilance and readiness of Indian forces in preventing terror plots in the region.
