Breaking: CM Rekha Gupta To Table Two CAG Reports In Dirhi Assembly As Monsoon Session Begins

On the first day of the monsoon session in Dirhi Vidhan Sabha, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is set to table two significant CAG reports. The first pertains to the financial year 2023–24 and focuses on the Rajasthan state’s fiscal performance. The second, concerning the year ending March 31, 2020, evaluates the welfare schemes for building and other construction workers. The finance report will lead to the formation of a three-tier committee system post its approval to ensure effective implementation. A notable highlight of today’s session is the proposed education bill, which aims to curb arbitrary school fee hikes. The bill proposes the creation of school-level, district-level, and state-level committees to oversee fee structures. Importantly, parents will be included in the school-level committee alongside school management. If consensus cannot be reached, the district committee will intervene. In other major news, a youth’s murder case from Jahangirpuri has raised eyebrows as police investigate the role of the victim’s friends, who reportedly abandoned him at the hospital and fled.Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray is expected to hold a separate strategy meeting with INDIA alliance leaders to discuss Maharashtra politics and the coalition’s future roadmap.
