Breaking: Audi Car Runs Over Five Sleeping On Footpath In Delhi’s Vasant Vihar, Driver Arrested

A horrifying road accident occurred in Delhi’s upscale Vasant Vihar area on the night of July 9, when an Audi car mowed down five people sleeping on the footpath. The incident took place around 1:45 AM, creating panic in the area. All five victims were severely injured and rushed to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, their condition is reported to be stable as per hospital sources.The driver of the Audi, a man reportedly working in property dealing in Noida, has been arrested on the spot by Delhi Police. Preliminary investigations reveal that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and was en route from Noida to Dwarka when he lost control of the vehicle.Delhi Police have seized the car and are examining CCTV footage from the area to determine whether any other incidents occurred along the route. The case has raised serious questions about drunk driving and road safety in the capital.An FIR has been registered, and the accused is being interrogated. Authorities are also investigating whether he had any prior record of reckless driving.
