BPSC Protest: Prashant Kishor Arrested While Fasting in Support of BPSC Students

In a dramatic turn of events, political strategist Prashant Kishor was arrested early this morning from Patna's Gandhi Maidan, where he was on a hunger strike in solidarity with BPSC students. The police removed Kishor from the site at around 4 AM, citing the need to maintain order. The protest, aimed at demanding the cancellation of the BPSC exams over alleged irregularities, had been gaining momentum since Kishor began his fast on January 2. Supporters of Kishor were also forcibly removed from the area, leading to commotion and heated exchanges with law enforcement. The arrest has sparked criticism from Kishor’s supporters, who accuse the administration of suppressing peaceful protests. Kishor has consistently voiced his concerns over the transparency of the examination process, calling for reforms to ensure fairness. The incident marks a significant escalation in the ongoing BPSC protest, drawing attention to the grievances of students and the government's handling of dissent. As tensions rise, the spotlight remains on the Bihar government’s response to the growing unrest.
