BJP's Distinctive Demand 'Burqa wearers should be checked before Voting' | ABP News
A delegation of MLAs Ajay Mahawar and Mohan Singh Bisht, State Secretary Kishan Sharma and lawyer Neeraj Gupta had met the CEO of Delhi on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum. In which he demanded proper verification of women voters wearing burqa to vote during the sixth phase of voting in Delhi. MLA Ajay Mahawar, who led the delegation, had said that those who come to vote wearing burqa or face masks should be allowed to vote only after thorough investigation. Along with this, a lady officer or a lady police officer should check their face. He said that especially in such parliamentary constituencies where the number of 'burqa-clad' women voters is high. A large number of women wearing burqa come to the polling stations to vote.
