BJP National Secretary and MLC Candidate, Pankaja Munde offers prayers at Shree Siddhivinayak Temple

Mumbai, July 12 (ANI): National Secretary of BJP and MLC Candidate Pankaja Gopinath Munde offered prayers at Shree Siddhivinayak Temple. Voting is to be held today for MLC elections in Maharashtra. There are twelve candidates for 11 seats, so elections are going to be held. Due to fear of conflict, big political parties have shifted their MLAs to hotels. The danger of disunity is more visible among NDA MLAs. The Maharashtra Legislative Council elections are no less than a litmus test for the ruling party BJP. Assembly elections are to be held in the state in the coming few months and after the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP would like to retain its strength. Legislative Council elections are going to be held in Maharashtra in two days. 12 candidates have filed nominations for 11 seats in the state. Talking about the strength of MLAs in Maharashtra, any candidate who gets 23 votes will become an MLC. In such a situation, every party is trying to fulfill the quota of 23.
